Illustrator Toolbar - Comprehensive guide...Part-1.

Here is the toolbar of Illustrator cs5 located at the left corner of the software. I will describe all the usage of every tool of illustrator toolbar.

Selection tool (V) :

Selecting Object:
This tool helps you to select an entire object which you created at a time. When you have more than
one object on a document you can select them partially by this tool (V). To select an object turn the mouse pointer over the object and click on it. To select any toolbar just click the icon by selecting the selection tool (V).


Bring to front/back:
Select an object. Now press CTRL+[ and CTRL+].

Paste in front/back:
Select an object. Copy it by pressing CTRL+C then press CTRL+F (in front) and CTRL+B (in back).

Group and ungroup :
Select one more object and go to OBJECT/GROUP to group them. Again to ungroup them go to OBJECT/UNGROUP. To apply same effect to many object you should group them first.

Deleting object:
To delete an object select it and press DEL button.



Direct Selection tool
You can delete or move the anchor points by this tool. Select this tool then select an object. You will notice the anchor points of the objects. Select any anchor points and hit the delete button of your keyboard. To move select anchor points and drag them. (NOTE : You can select one more objects or anchor points by holding the shift key.)
